The reading program is designed to enable students to read with expression and comprehension. Reading is taught in small groups. The students recite the consonants and vowel sounds daily. |

The purpose of the Carden Spelling Method is to teach children to listen to a word, break it down into its individual sounds, and construct the word sound by sound. |

Culture and vocabulary in The Farm and other workbooks |
| Computer |
Students will learn the basic skills of using a keyboard and mouse, watching a monitor, listening to instructions, and following commands. |
| French |
Counting, colors, songs, rhymes, phrases and simple objects. |
| Art, Music and PE |
Art: Drawing, painting, and various art activities Music: Development of rhythmic skills.
PE: The students participate in a structured PE class for 20 minutes each day with activities,
games, and simple exercises. |
